Directional parameters determined in the single orientation experiments
are the starting point in the modelling of the common directions in the group of
birds.
Bayesian statistical 3-step method of the common directions number
and parameters estimation is presented. The method is based on the marginal
probability distribution of the single-test directions. Maximum Likelihood and
Bayesian Information criteria for the proper model selection are used in each
step.
Computer program for the orientation modelling aid is also presented.
